Why a checkout coupon cannot fix a missed referral

This account guide answers one practical question: can a discount code add a referral to an account that was created earlier? No checkout action reopens the registration window.
Two unrelated fields
The account referral field creates a player association. A shopping-cart coupon adjusts an eligible order under its own rules. Entering a referral in the cart will not bind it to an old account, while a genuine subscriber coupon cannot substitute for registration. RSI subscriber coupon terms
Check the clock first
If the account has no referral and was created less than 24 hours ago, use the account-summary entry. If the deadline has passed, do not buy an extra ship as an experiment. Review the existing-account route and preserve any access you already own. RSI referral conditions
Read an actual offer separately
Package sales may change the cost of game access. They do not change which account was referred. Compare the final store total and contents when you decide to buy, without treating a currency benefit as cash savings.
The boundary of our help
