Use this page beside the registration form. The useful checkpoint is the contents of the referral field before you submit, rather than the wording on a promotional banner.
Add the code at signup or within 24 hours of creating your account. That is not a deadline to buy. A free account can join public Free Fly events during their announced windows. Special event rewards have separate rules. RSI rules
Before you fill in personal details
Open the official RSI enlist page and check the address bar. A referral parameter can fill in the optional code field; it is not evidence that an account has already been registered. Keep the browser tab open while you complete the ordinary account fields.
Inspect the field before submission
Find the Referral Rewards area and read the code actually displayed. Copying a code elsewhere on a website does not attach it to RSI. Preserve the code separators and check for accidental spaces. If another code is present, correct the field before completing registration.
After the account exists
Check the account summary rather than submitting the enlist form again. An unlinked account within RSI’s 24 hour grace period can add a code there. An attached code cannot be switched to a different player. The entry window is not a deadline to purchase a package. RSI referral conditions
If the page fails
Record the browser error and the time, then consult RSI service information. Refreshing an error page is different from creating another account. If you cannot establish whether registration completed, recover access through RSI before trying to register again.
