Mustang Alpha: old package, standalone hull or trial access?
Maintained by Domux. Editorial approach and referral disclosure
If a Mustang appears in your account, check how it got there. An older starter package, a standalone purchase and temporary trial access can produce different account entitlements.
Inspect the existing pledge
Look at the contents in My Hangar before purchasing another starter. An old package can contain access that a current ship-only listing lacks. Preserve the entitlement rather than inferring it from a changing store catalogue.
Do not reclaim to troubleshoot login
Reclaiming a package is a purchase action, not an account repair step. It can affect included entitlements and buy-back options. Ask RSI about missing access before changing the pledge that may provide it.
Check for temporary availability
A ship seen during a trial does not establish permanent ownership. Consult the event conditions and the account’s actual pledges when a hull disappears after an event.
Referral status remains separate
Changing from a Mustang to another ship does not reset an account’s referral association. For a newly created account, use the normal registration rules. For an older one, follow the existing-account decision path without buying a second hull as a workaround.
